Server Training

Fargo Cass Public Health

Several updates have recently been made to Server Training, including the format and timing of the class, as well as the process for maintaining Server Training records . Please see below for those changes:

Server Training is now only available online through the North Dakota Safety Council. Currently, there is no cost associated with this course. In-person classes are no longer available; this includes private classes.

Fargo Cass Public Health

To register and complete the course, please visit https://www.ndsc.org/free-responsible-beverage-server-online-training-basic-server/.

Individuals who pass the course will receive a certificate and will be credentialed for three years. It is recommended to keep the certificate as record of completion of the course.

*Please note: current server training cards obtained through completion of a class facilitated by Fargo Cass Public Health are valid for three years from the date of completion of the class

Server Training

The Fargo Cass Public Health Board of Health is an advisory board appointed by the City of Fargo Commission. The Board of Health meets quarterly but may schedule additional meetings as needed.

Duties of the Board of Health include:

* Be a community advocate for public health.
* Make recommendations to the Board of City Commissioners and Cass County Commission regarding public health issues ensuring policy and legislation is based on the most rigorous and current scientific evidence based on expert recommendation or evidence-based or promising practices.
* Provide feedback on the public health department’s strategic plan and provide guidance on goals and objectives and ensure alignment with the health department’s mission.
